Breathwork Retreats / Training

This is Blissful Journey's introductory 2 1/2 day Breathwork Experience. (i.e. Part 1 of the whole Breathwork Immersion Retreat below). It goes into greater depth than an Intro Workshop and features five (5) sessions and two mini-sessions. It is intended as a starter program where you can begin to do shorter self-sessions on your own after program's end; you will have many tools to take home to help you stay strong and in your power, and live the life you desire and deserve.

There are NO prerequisites for this program.

Blissful Journey offers this second, more advanced, 2 1/2 day retreat. (i.e. Part 2 of the whole Breathwork Immersion Retreat below) BMR is an advanced experience featuring five (5) more full sessions with extra daily mini-sessions, including a "water session". Deeper learning about the Breath, and your relationship to it, with both Integrative and Yogic practices as well as several modalities centering around Emotional Wellness, Personal Expression, and Manifestation.

Our Breathwork Empowerment Retreat (BER) is the prerequisite for this program.

The Immersion Retreat is simply the Empowerment and Manifestation experiences taken together as a 4 1/2 day retreat. BIR allows one to pack 9 full sessions plus the daily mini-sessions into a more compressed intensive format, with each session's power building on the next for maximum momentum.

There are NO prerequisites for this 4 1/2 day program.

We offer special Transformational Breath­ Programs. Check Breath Schedule for Details.

Group Events (1-day)

The Introductory Workshop is a partial day (usually 2 or 3 hours) group experience with a full facilitated session. These are open to the general public and may take place at our location or be hosted by a business.

This is similar to the Workshop above but of a day's duration; usually 6 to 8 hours. Featured are 2 full facilitated sessions with lunch and other content sandwiched between--topics or activities such as meditation or emotional work are common. Again, open to the general public.

These events follow one of our Workshop formats above (Introductory or Intensive) but are organized by and for a private group so that registration is closed to the public. We can travel to your venue if a large enough group is pre-registered / pre-paid. Call to arrange your own Workshop for friends, family, work associates, or any group that you are connected with. Local groups are welcome to breathe at our studio.

These are facilitated sessions for Couples who wish to breathe together in private. These are ideal if there are relationship issues to work through or just for a special occasion to deepen your relationship. Coaching can also be added to this session. We provide one Facilitator to work with you both.

Individual Sessions

These are individual sessions, one-on-one with our Practitioners. The sessions are hands-on.

These are individual sessions, one-on-one with our Practitioners through an online Zoom format. These are available to those who cannot get to us locally due to weather, geography, or mobility concerns. The first online session is typically a longer (at least 1.5 hours) to include preparation and instruction on how to conduct the session through the internet.

We do not offer Couples sessions online due to the logistics involved.

We offer water breathing sessions, conducted in a properly-heated hot tub on our premises. These are more of an advanced breathing session we reserve for experienced breathers. The session is done using a mask and snorkel where the breather is fully supported during the facilitated session.

Please bring a swimsuit for the session and refrain from wearing any lotions or skin care products to your session.

Somatic Coaching

In somatic coaching sessions, clients are guided through body based energetic transformation, so they can experience joy, fulfillment, alignment and much more. This is a body-based work focused on unlocking stuck areas, allowing the client to move forward, rather than a mind-set approach.

For a limited time, these sessions are Free. Sessions are Online, unless we make arrangements for in-person.

Are you ready to let go of the blocks that are keeping you from wealth, health and happiness? Emotional energy blockages can also manifest as physical ailments and pain. We use several modalities to clear emotional blockages. Plus, the client is educated on ways to help themselves improve their emotional health and relieve stress.

We've found that using a combination of several techniques is most effective with the best results, especially since our emotional tapestry can be so complex. These modalities used are compatible with any other the client may be using and are not intended to take the place of a licensed therapist or physician.

Sessions are $100 per hour. Initial consultation is 90 minutes at $150.00. Offered in-person, by phone, or through Zoom.

These include an assessment of Nutrition, Lifestyle, and the Health of whole person. We take the guesswork out of which supplements are needed for support. Recommendations are made for changes to promote a healthier you. Quantum Reflex Analysis (QRA) is an effective way of communicating with your body and its specific needs. We can quickly pinpoint areas of nutritional deficiency and determine nutrients and formulas needed to support the body's best structure and function for optimal health and longevity.

We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. (Training as a QRA Practitioner was done through Premier Research Laboratories and Dr. Bob Marshall). Forms will be emailed when the appointment is scheduled. Completed forms must be received at least 48 hours in advance or the appointment will need to be rescheduled.

Consultations are currently being offered Online through Zoom and in-Person. Initial Session $150 for 1.5 hours (Does not include the cost of supplements.) Follow-Up Sessions are $100 per hour.

Jin Shin Jyutsu is the ancient Eastern Art of releasing tensions which cause various symptoms in the body. Our bodies contain energy pathways that feed life into all of our cells. When one or more of these paths become blocked, this damming effect may lead to discomfort or even pain. This blockage or stagnation will not only disrupt the local area but will continue and eventually disharmonize the complete path or paths of the energy flow.

Through Jin Shin Jyutsu our awareness is awakened to the simple fact that we are endowed with the ability to harmonize and balance ourselves (in rhythm with the universe) physically, mentally and spiritually.

In a typical Jin Shin Jyutsu session, which lasts about 1 hour, the receiver remains clothed and lies face-up on a cushioned surface. After "listening" to the energy pulses in the wrists, a practitioner employs a harmonizing sequence, or "flow", appropriate for unblocking particular pathways and restoring the energy to the energy rhythm of the universe.

To a certain extent, the experience of Jin Shin Jyutsu is unique to each person for each session. However, the most common effect is that of deep relaxation. Who among us doesn't welcome any opportunity to let go of stress, which so often interferes with optimum health?

Sessions are done in-Person, for 1 hour at $100.

The Bach Flower Remedies are 38 plant- and flower-based remedies which are beneficial in meeting the demands of emotional stress in everyday life. During the consultation, a custom remedy is formulated and prepared to your needs. Research supports the view that emotional and physical health are linked. Bach Flower Remedies help you take control of the way you feel to get more out of life. These remedies are perfectly safe for all family members and pets and there are no contraindications.

Bach Flower Consultations can be added to any session ($50) or done separately ($75 includes consultation and custom remedy.)

Reflexology is a hands-on bodywork modality where the foot is essentially an energetic map of the body, and applying pressure to certain points on the foot positively affect the corresponding area on/in the body. It may be looked at as a foot massage but has a profound effect on wellness. Sessions also include some work on the hands. Sessions are 45 minutes and use smooth crystals to apply the pressure.

Note: Reflexology is very safe, but if client is pregnant, we must know so that we can avoid touching certain points on and around the foot.

Many of the benefits of the foot spa can be attributed to the re-balancing of the energy meridians and the raising of the bio-electrical potential of the body at the cellular level. The bio-charge produced by the ion energy spa can effectively be used for a wide range of conditions, serving as a non-invasive and effective wellness treatment.

Some of the best results reported have been with detoxification, pain reduction, reduced inflammation and recovery time, improved liver, kidney, and colon function, as well as improved sleeping patterns. Studies support the results of better circulation overall.

Immediately after a session it is typical to feel relaxed and have heightened mental clarity. However, clients report that it is the cumulative effect of the sessions which are the most dramatic, providing a greater long-term benefit.

Sessions are done in-Person for 45 minutes at $50.

This YOGA Class is not a public open classroom. It is an individual or small group instruction gathering designed to teach you how to develop your own personal program for yourself and loved ones and insert that into your healthy lifestyle.

The format is Integrative in nature, so that it does not follow the style of a trademarked yoga style or school, but rather blends some classical yoga with more Kundalini and Tibetan yoga traditions. If you take, or have taken yoga classes, some of the routines may seem familiar while other parts will not. The emphasis tends to be on movement instead of static postures (asanas). And, of course, lots of Breathing techniques are introduced, more than you receive at your regular public classes.

Note: For those who are challenged in any way physically to where they may not keep up with the typical public yoga classes, we strive to adapt our techniques so that they meet your actual needs and provide the intended benefits.

The Team

Steve and Grace

Stephen is a Certified Transformational Breath Trainer™, having completed Breathwork Training in The Netherlands, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. He's led events in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the US South, Costa Rica, and Introductory Trainings in places like France and Sweden. He's an Herbalist, Yoga Teacher (Nosara Yoga Institute, Jan 2003), Massage Therapist (Oct 1999), and Reiki Master.

Stephen teams with wife Grace, who is a Certified Transformational Breath Senior Trainer™, working at Breathwork events as far away as Europe, Turkey, and Kuwait. She has 20 years experience in clinical research labs and began natural healing professionally in 2008. Grace is an Herbalist and holds many other health and wellness certifications.

Stephen, former CEO of the Transformational Breath Foundation, served on the TBF Board of Directors and headed several departments including Science, Technology, and Research. Grace was Personal Assistant to the its Founder Judith Kravitz (2019-22) and TBF Board Advisor.
